Shana Youngdahl--visiting all the way from Maine--will be reading from her first full-length poetry collection, History, Advice and Other Half-Truths. She will be joined by one of Sacramento's finest poets, American River College Professor Traci Gourdine. Be here!

Shana Youngdahl is the author of two chapbooks, Donner: A Passing (Finishing Line, 2008) and Of Nets (Gendun, 2010). Her poetry has appeared widely in journals including Third Coast, Shenandoah and Margie. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Maine, Farmington.

Traci Gourdine’s poetry and stories have been published in numerous literary magazines, and she has been anthologized within Shapard and Thomas’s Sudden Fiction Continued. Traci and Quincy Troupe were paired in a year long exchange of letters for the anthology Letters to Poets: Conversations about Poetics, Politics, and Community.
