Pauline Frommer - January 16th

 Time Tested Books
is pleased to present
Pauline Frommer
 Publisher of frommers.com,
syndicated national travel radio host, and author of
Frommer's EasyGuide to New York City 2014
Thursday, January 16th, at 7:00pm

Discussing topics such as:
  • Holiday travel survival guide
  • Trends and top destinations for 2014
  • How to make your vacation great at any price range

Pauline Frommer started traveling with her guidebook-writing parents at the age of four months and hasn't stopped since. Her first job in travel was on the website Frommers.com, and eventually she worked her way up to Editor-in-Chief. Pauline also served as Travel Editor for MSNBC.com for several years before working with John Wiley & Sons to create the award-winning Pauline Frommer Guidebooks, a 14-book series that won the coveted "Best Guidebook of the Year" title three years in a row from the North American Travel Journalists Association.

For four years Pauline created weekly travel segments for CNN's Headline News and Pipeline. You may also have seen her talking travel on The Today Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, The O'Reilly Factor, NBC Nightly News and ABC World News, Good Morning America, FOX News and every local news station you can name. Her writings have been widely published in everything from Budget Travel Magazine to the Dallas Morning News to Nick Jr. magazine.

Frommer guidebooks were recently relaunched with 30 new travel guides in two formats: 20 EasyGuides, and 10 Day by Day Guides that are available in print and eBook versions. The EasyGuides are readily portable, 250-page books that include a full scale map and retail for $10.95. The classic Day by Day Guides feature the full-color glossy photographs that readers have grown accustomed to and itinerary-based guidance to some of the world's most popular destinations.

This event is FREE and everyone is invited!
