Keynote Poets with Phillip Larrea - January 24th

Award winning poet Phillip Larrea 
at Keynote Poetry Series

Larrea is a syndicated columnist. His poems have recently appeared internationally in Outburst Magazine, The Poetry Bus Magazine and the firstcut #7 from Ireland. In the United States Phillip has been recently published in Decade Review, Rusty Nail, Nazar Look, and the Brooklyn Voice. He was most recently published in the Sacramento News And Review.

    Larrea will be joined by emerging poets David Irabarne, Tina Cates and Anna Marie who will graciously open with shorter readings. Cates is the author of Spoken Wordz currently on Amazon. Iribarne is scheduled to release a book of poetry next year. All four poets are members of the Sacramento Poetry Center.

   The event will be hosted by poet Michael Ellis, Crosscurrents Review, The Next Big Writer. He was once mentored by Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Gwendolyn Brooks. His agenda is to expand this event to four shows per year, bringing Sacramento’s finest poets together under a keynote reading format.
