After a successful Kickstarter.com campaign, The Unsolicited Poetry Tour featuring poet David Rowe of New Orleans arrives in Sacramento for a reading at Time Tested Books September 14^th at 7pm. Along with his publisher Peter Anderson (Verna Press), Mr. Rowe will be traveling from Santa Fe to Seattle and points between September 6^th-21^st to promote his collection ‘Unsolicited Poems’ and bring life to the words Bookslut.com called, “beautiful and chaotic and sexy and sonorous.”

Mr. Rowe’s work has appeared in such publications as Exquisite Corpse, The North American Review, The Cortland Review, and Big Bridge and he has been featured on The Moe Green Poetry Show and Susan Larson’s The Reading Life. A large part of the mission on The Unsolicited Poetry Tour is to establish connections with the local poetry communities, so along with promoting ‘Unsolicited Poems,’ Rowe and Anderson will focus on gathering submissions for the forthcoming issue of Dorado, a letterpress literary magazine that Verna Press publishes. So poets bring your poems and listeners bring your ears and join us for an outstanding evening of poetry in Sacramento.
