Dec. 13 Poetry: Indigo Moor & Theresa Vinciguerra

For the final entry in our 2009 poetry series we're delighted to have Theresa Vinciguerra and Indigo Moor.
All good things must come to an end, and we feel lucky to have two more excellent wordsmiths closing out what has been a great year for the Sacramento poetry community. Thanks to all who participated.

Indigo Moor is a former vice president of the Sacramento Poetry Center and editor for the Tule Review, and was the winner of the 2005 Vesle Fenstermaker Poetry Prize for Emerging Writers and the 2009 Jack Kerouac Poetry contest. His most recent book is Tap-Root, and his next, Through the Stonecutter's Window, will be published by Northwest Univeristy Press.

Theresa Vinciguerra is the founder of the Sacramento Poetry Center (aka Poet Tree, Inc.), and served as its Director from 1979-1984. On its Board from 1984-1985, she edited the landmark anthology of Sacramento poetry Landing Signals with Victoria Dalkey.

The event is on Sunday, December 13, at 7pm. Admission is free, though a donation - which goes to the poets - is requested.
