Todd Walton & Marcia Sloan on May 14

A fiction writer and musician, Todd Walton is the author of hundreds of short stories and eight books including Inside Moves, Forgotten Impulses, The Writer’s Path, and Buddha In A Teacup. The DVD of the motion picture Inside Moves featuring an interview with Todd has just been released by Lions Gate Entertainment. Todd lived in Sacramento from 1980 to 1995 and was a frequent contributor to the Sacramento News & Review.

Marcia Sloane has been a classical and improvising cellist for forty years. Her CD Cello Drones for Tuning and Improvisation is used by musicians throughout the world. Her CD Skyward is a collection of her original compositions for cello and voice.

Todd and Marcia’s performance will feature songs from their CD When Light Is Your Garden, and Todd reading from Buddha In A Teacup and from his hilarious new novel Under the Table Books, which features poetry by Sacramento poets D.R. Wagner, Ann Menebroker, and Quinton Duval, who will be on hand for the event. Time Tested Books was the inspiration for the setting of Under the Table Books.
