William Burg talks about Sacramento on October 16

We are pleased to welcome William Burg back to Time Tested Books for a presentation on his new book Sacramento: Then & Now. Sacramento... is a collection of photographs from Sacramento's past and present, juxtaposed so the reader gets an idea of how far the Capital City has come (or fallen...depending on your POV). Burg comments on the photographs with wit and insight, providing vital historical context. If you've read Burg's writing in the Midtown Monthly you know that he is a thorough and entertaining writer and pretty much the unofficial historian of post-Gold Rush Sacramento.

The event starts at 7 p.m. and is free. A book signing follows, Burg's presentation. Copies of Sacramento: Then & Now are available at Time Tested Books.
