Featuring Poets on Deck

Just in time for the holiday season, Time Tested Books has a unique gift for the poetry lover in your life: POETS ON DECK!

A project of the Sacramento Poet Laureate Program supported by the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, Poets on Deck is a deck of playing cards that celebrates the evolution of the Sacramento poetry scene. With regrettable omissions all of the poets featured on the cards were active in the creation and solidification of the poetry scene in Sacramento spanning the years roughly from the late 1960’s to the very early 1980’s. The joker cards are “wild” and feature supporters active ‘behind the scenes’ (including Time Tested Books' own Peter Keat!).

Poets on Deck are available at Time Tested Books or you can order yours online, for pick up or delivery via US Post. If ordering five or more online, please give us a day or two to fill the order. And please leave your phone number in the paypal comments box.

Order your copy for $15 each, plus post (and CA sales tax, if applicable). You can also pay through paypal and pick up at the store, but please print out your paypal receipt and bring it with you...or you can just drop by the store and but it direct from us.
